For this project, I utilized value by allowing the stripes to become a bit lighter as they move into the distance, providing a slight amount of atmospheric perspective. In order to ensure accurate dimensions, the page is drawn with 2 acute, and 2 obtuse corners, as opposed right angles. There is a high level of contrast here, as the stripes go from white to complete darkness.
